BNP attack

It has been brought to my attention that Nick Griffin, Leader of the British National Party (BNP) has made what can only be described as the elementary mistake of attacking a “rival” opposing Party on his Party’s main website and thus on the most public face of his Party.

What is more, the article (click here to see it >>> http://www.bnp.org.uk/news/national/another-rival-faces-post-election-blues-and-meltdown) appears more than usually spiteful and petulant. In particular I really cannot understand the psychology of a senior Party figure, let alone the Leader, of the BNP, implicitly suggesting that anyone who is now or ever has been a member of the BNP must therefore be such a terrible and unacceptable person that however much they change their mind about politics, they can never be admitted into a respectable Party, like the English Democrats. There does seem to be a truly weird element of self-hatred in such a thought process!

Most of the alleged facts stated in the article are untrue or twisted beyond recognition. For example it is claimed that the English Democrats are in debt. Whereas the only debts of the English Democrats arise from the willingness of myself and other members of the Party to put their hands in their pockets to fund our Party and Cause. I wonder if the same can be said within the leadership of the BNP?

It is also true that we did not raise sufficient money to do a full campaign in the London elections, but as I have mentioned in my previous blog entry, we stood in the Party List and spent less than £1,000 on the election campaign, literally only distributing our general recruitment leaflet (a pdf of which you can find on this link >>>> http://www.voteenglish.org/images/stories/engdemrecruitment.pdf). So what is clear is that most of those that voted for us will have voted for us without even receiving a leaflet this time. This shows that we already have a core vote, even in London, which contains some of the least fertile constituencies for us, of slightly over 1% of the turnout, or over 22,000 votes.

If we had received the media coverage that the BNP received in the GLA election and, as we hope to on the next occasion, had raised enough money to do a full campaign, I suspect that Nick Griffin would have excellent cause to write an even more querulous article than this one about that result!

I cannot finish however without pointing out that, simply because former party members and activists move over to a new party, that does not make them in any reasonable sense “traitors”. It is the unbridled use of such, frankly, silly language which has helped to taint whatever good there was in the BNP brand. Its use here shows that neither Nick Griffin, nor the BNP, can any longer be taken seriously and no wonder Dr Matthew Goodwin of Nottingham University who is the foremost academic analyst of the BNP, tweeted this >>>

  1. My impression is that, away from London and the south of England, the English Democrats are making steady progress, and in the May voting across the industrial north often received more votes than either the BNP or UKIP

  2. Usual brickbats that ALL parties use to attack the other. Barely worthy of mention.

There are, for the most part, 3 parties I want to see out of Westminster: Labour, Lib Dems and Conservative.

The 'floating voter' that both doesn't have a memory span of a goldfish and doesn't oscillate between Labour and the Tories looks at the likes of the BNP, UKIP and the English Democrats.

Trouble is there are too many of you all brickbatting each other.

  3. Looking at the figures, the ED vote was down in London, it collapsed by 60% in havering

    1. That's an oddly partisan way of looking at it, when more competition and no electoral address is taken into account.

    2. leo brookes managed to have the benefit of a bigger turnout , more competition and massively got to have the benefit of a election advert in london so infact ED in havering did not do too bad....

  4. Every party needs time to grow. The 'English Question' will only grow stronger in time to come, and so will the English Democrats too...

  5. London and the South are going to be difficult to crack given that the BNP is entrenched in London and UKIP in the south and west, and the money that they have to spend in those heartlands. (Also, while the 'British' brand is toxic in the north, it remains popular among the Colonel Blimps of the south and west and London where there are constant reminders of the Empire). It's a pity that there were no English Democrats standing in Burnley where the BNP vote collapsed.

  6. It is pointless sniping. Whilst firing at one another we are not firing on the real traitors already in parliament.

It is apparent that the natioanist thinking patriotic folk broadly have the same opinions but express them differently depending on their social status and occupation.

Nobody hates someone just because they have a different skin colour. However, they have a legitimate reason to dislike and resent huge poplutions of any other people coming to our lands and changing its culture, particularly when there is little work for those already here.

Its time to kick the ball the sameway chaps.

  7. I wonder what the BNP costs where per vote compared to the ED's ?

  8. the B in BNP stands for British, and the UK in UKIP stands for United Kingdom - that is where the first loyalty of those parties lies. the first loyalty of the English Democrats is to the English. that is the difference. the English Democrats have more in common with Plaid Cymru and the SNP than with the BNP or UKIP, which like the big three parties are unionist parties, first and foremost.
the English Democrats cannot kick the ball in the same way as the BNP and UKIP, because both are British parties, not English parties

    1. Why would you want to have anything in common with Plaid Cymru and the SNP? Both of these parties are separatists. It is my understanding that the EDs are NOT separatists but want an English Parliament WITHIN the union. Also, PC and the SNP want MORE immigration so they can hardly be called nationalists.

  10. There are many reasons why votes go up and down, the main one being the lack of faith, trust and solidarity in any one party because of constant hypocrisy making it not worthwhile going out to vote for anyone in the first place. I always vote because it’s the only thing to indicate that I still have some freedom and choice in this country about who I put my trust in. It would also help me feel much better if I could put a tick on the ballot paper instead of a cross then I would not feel that I am been thought of as being ignorant about something so important. One has to wonder about democracy and about the saying if you give people enough rope they will hang themselves. If winning all comes down to money and media coverage and global networks then we can expect this country to be full of people ROMING with no fixed abode, But then maybe it’s just me worrying to much, after all this is England and god’s country so everyone is welcome and I am English and more or less a pagan, so I don’t know nuffin.:-)

    1. If everyone is welcome how can we preserve our identity and culture. You propose the same divide, dilute and rule principle the hard left is ruthlessly executing now. If all are welcome there will be no such thing as England in one hundred years, only the land and and buildings that English people bled for and built.

All that will remain would be archeaolog

    2. We preserve England as being part of all things for who are we or anyone else to be separated out as being any more special except in the way we conduct ourselves and by having more respect for this land, its creatures and nature. All are welcome as long as they abide by the love of this land and its traditions which have always been linked with the ability to be self sustaining which cannot be said in the present day. It’s only because there are too many people living here and/or coming here who are simply living of capitalism who don’t give a dam about anything else except what they are used to in their own country. Capitalism is overruling and changing everything including the very nature of life and existence itself with the land and its destroying other countries as well it roams around. The real battle or war is with ourselves and each other in the way we look at the world around us and the way we use this countries natural recourses which can/or be recycled, if this goes then England is lost.

    3. Your argument evades the central proposition. If England has no ethnic English people in it how is it still England.

London is a case in point. The ethnic white British people have left London at the rate of 150,000 pa for the last 25 years, that number is not slowing. As we leave for the country and abroad England, as we know it, dies, forever.

  11. I have to agree being (E) for English is what makes all the difference to people as being an Entity rather than a Non-entity in this Country, (E) For England and the English, not (e) for Europe.

  12. The fact is The BNP is associated in many people's minds as the 'political alternative' to what we have now, as well as obviously being a house-hold name with the vast majority.

I feel that The BNP will continue to be 'a force' by electing & have representatives/representation as MEP's within the European Parliament in the EU elections 2014, 2019 etc. But not do as well as they really should in other 'smaller' elections such as local council & general elections (similar to UKIP really).

Finally It's also worth mentioning that The BNP has achieved as high level of Government that UKIP has ever achieved (MEP's) without ANY form of media endorsement, but 100% demonisation and negativity which to be fair is an achievement in itself.

  13. Griffin is a vile pig who relies on people's stupidity to make himself rich. Had he been a good Chairman, the BNP would be a serious threat to the mainstream but he's only interested in lining his own pockets.

    1. Ad hominem attacks do not further arguments.

    2. Dear Ad hominem, the description of Griffin as a vile pig is not an attack but a fair description of a Traitor, save your pious comments, what I have noticed in the ED's is its inability generate passion, to create interest, the overall record of National Parties is poor, do we need Greek style ruin before the general population motivated,,I prefer sarcasm, wit and insults to flavour debate rather than the monotonous tone we find, try some "Radicalism" to generate interest and debate, like "arrest Bliar, ban Common Purpose, bring back hanging", create interest or drift and drift.

      Delete
    3. If one resorts to insult, the argument is lost. Radical thinking does not by definition require bile.
From what I have heard from Mr Griffin's mouth, indirectly, I have learned. He is an articulate and very well educated man. Whether one agrees with him entirely is another matter.

Hearing and trying to understand alternative points of view, especially from the right should clarify and inform your argument.

Every day is a school day.

  14. Contrary to what has been stated above, the BNP is NOT entrenched in the South-east, the BNP has disappeared completely from Surrey and Susex for instance, unfortunately, the ED's have not replace them...yet!

  16. The British national party have taken over thirty years to achieve their pinnacle, of twelve (former)concillors in the borough of Barking and Dagenham, one(former)G.L.A. seat and two E.U. seats. The English Democrats by comparison, are a very young party. Many former B.N.P.activists and members have now joined, after re-assesing their view and aims. These people bring with them vast experience of organising and winning campaigns, and are good enthusiastic activists. This party will grow in time, but it now really needs to get the 'bit' between it's teeth and fill the gaps the B.N.P.are vacating.

  17. Trouble with the English they will not club as one united force, which makes them a nation of losers. I think its a bit over the top when the ED chirman speaks of Nick Griffins one off statement, whene the eddy Butler assasins make condeming the BNP their main political duty and daily task.

Robin Tibrook When are you and your members going to get out on the streets and do somthing ??. My advice is get rid of Butler and his do nothing army of attack dogs before they attemp to bring down the EDS.

AS for the English voter they will never never have the courage to vote for any far right party even, if Jesus Christ were leader himself.!!

,They are simply a gutles selfish football crazed misrable nation of yellow bellied cowards, and their elimination by genocide which will happen is good enough for the PC cowardly scum.

for it is they which have destroyed Britain by their continous re- electing Marxist, and traitours. Lib/ Lab/ Con

Jack the Zionist Straw said the English are not worth saving and when i see how the misrable cowardly pC bastards vote I entirly agree with him.

They dont even care obout their kids being murdered and gang banged by Muslim peodophile pigs, Charlen Downs Blackpool, only the BNP have been active on that, and it was nick Griffn that first bought the Issue to public notice
