An EU snake in the queen's speech grass?

Tucked away near the end of the Queen’s speech there is a significant EUish item. An example of our political elite not being totally honest with us?
There buried in the detail are some deceptive and bland comments about the European Union Approvals Bill which allows for authorisation for the UK ‘to support measures and programmes in the European Union’. Among three programmes listed, it includes Europe for Citizens which according to government briefing notes ‘aims to develop understanding of the EU, its history and policy-making processes and encourage civic participation in the EU’. It also aims to ‘promote remembrance of Europe’s history, particularly the wars and totalitarian regimes of the 20th century’.
If anyone wishes to know what is about to happen with matters EU in the UK, one place to start is at the European Scrutiny Committee website (ESC). What do we find there?

A ”Europe for Citizens” Programme with a budget of €229 million for the period 2014-20. It seeks to ensure continuity of funding for a range of activities already supported by the EU under the current Europe for Citizens Programme (2007-13). When did our press and politicians tell us about all this?
So just as David Cameron blows hot and cold over an EU referendum – signalling that he may “propose” a bill and then backtracking – we find that his British coalition government actually supports the objectives of the Europe for Citizens Programme, citing the fact that it has “synergies with the Government’s “Big Society” agenda and youth policies, as well as the focus on “localising action at the lowest possible level” and empowering individuals.” This is no more than brainwashing.
We also it seems have a Scrutiny Committee prepared to issue a conditional “scrutiny waiver”? And we have a parliamentary system that is supposed to scrutinise the government of the UK?
Here is the link to the official briefing note on the Queen’s speech. Click here >>>

There were 9 UK wide Bills proposed, and 4 Great Britain only Bills, and one each for Wales and Northern Ireland and 3 for England and Wales only; These are: the Water Bill, the Offender Rehabilitation Bill and the Anti-social Behaviour Bill.
There were also 3 bills with England only jurisdiction; one closing the Audit Commission, a Bill to enable HS2 and a Care Bill.
There is also to be a new National Curriculum and exams reform for England only and Teachers pay arrangements and apprenticeships reforms all just for England only.
What real democratic mandate from the English Nation to reform our schools etc does a Scottish Minister in the British Government actually have? It would be good to have an English minister in an English Parliament decide these things after being elected by an constituency to represent the English nation!

    1. Actually the Queen could never be a Traitor because treason is the crime of betraying the monarch. That is an oxymoron.
It is also bizarre to talk of killing her in any case. She is a much loved and widely respected figure.
If you are refering to assenting to the European Communities Act then that would not have been done by her personally - only in her name - by a parliamentary funcionary.

  2. There is no democracy left in this country now. It is mostly decided far away from these shores. Back bench mps put forward a bill to bring forward the date of a referendum on EU membership. Mr Cameron is quite relaxed about this having told his cabinet to abstain from voting. So there's your democracy, the little dictator can tell his cabinet what to do. Today we hear that Michael Gove would vote to come out in a referendum; so he will be getting the sack. Cameron has no intention of holding a referendum or intends putting it off as long as possible. The date now is 2017. He can do no other. Somewhere I read he is getting £6m a year to follow the one world agenda leading to world government. Eventually, the northern democracies will be so powerless and ethnically so un-European they will not have the strength to oppose the one world plans.

Somebody said yesterday, the world is in a mess. We know why, the machinations of the bankers and the gradual removal of Europeans from being the world's driving force with their iq levels excedeed only by the Chinese, Japanese and some Jews and their ability to organise, co-operate and invent, the result of managing to survive in a merciless northern climate.

    1. You have to wonder if Michael Gove is making a bid for Cameron's job. More likely though is that the Tories are trying to give the impression that they are going to shoot Ukip's fox. A lot of people will fall for it, but the Tories have no intention of taking the country out of the EU, whether under Cameron or Gove. Proof of this is how Cameron is in the USA negotiating with Obama over an enlargement of the EU to include North America. Any Tory MP who truly wished to see the UK leave the EU would defect to Ukip.

    2. You have beaten me to it. I think Cameron is the NWO's chief operator, using Britain's imperial past to negociate the extension of the EU to include India and the "special relationship" to extend it westwards. The term special relationship used by the BBC is a joke. Obama hates the British because of his grandfather's role in the Mau Mau in colonial Kenya and sent back Churchill's bust from the White House to the British Embassy in Washington.

I was born into a country as a part of a people. Now I feel as rootless as a refugee in my own country which is no longer a country at all, just a piece of land where anybody can come and live or leave as they choose. This is how it feels to be a cipher in the one world state and it is going to get much worse.

It is quite alarming the number of crackpots who are attracted to post messages on this blog.

    1. I am quite prepared to believe that Cameron is in receipt of £6m (and more) a year to spend on the one world agenda. (What does Anonymous think that the WTO, the G8 and the World Bank are about?). The Tories are the party of big business and international capitalism. If that means impoverishing the English, they couldn't care less.

    2. Oswald, the fact that you are quite prepared to believe it goes a long way to proving the point made.

    3. Anon of 10.01 you are the crack-pot, the traitor Cameron was a bum-chum of Nat Rothschild for 5 years at Eton. 'Uncle Jacob' has groomed Cameron to do the Rothschild bidding. How long was it after joining the Conservatives that Cameron became leader? Was it 7 years? A meteoric rise like that only occurs with money greasing his path. OF COURSE this trator is 100% bought. Two of his jobs for his boss are to keep us IN the EU under ANY circumstances and to keep his hand firmly on the immigration tap, WIDE OPEN that is. Obama in the US is the same kind of groomed and bought creature as Cameron, You will certainly find if you were able, a hidden gold account in the Cayman Islands or Bermuda with Obama's name on it. He is the main player here, but the UK is relatively important also. Both are on the inner ring of the UN. One more of this inner ring to go with the globalists and the UN is in lockdown. My betting is that it will be France. The entire 'performance' will be done and dusted either after the next 4 years of Obama or the following very few years. Once the new system is in place it will be permanent and almost impossible to change.

    5. Oswald - the irony is that those making the case for "it's the Jews!", "it's immigrants!", etc., ALWAYS resort to name calling.

      For example:

"Anon of 10.01 you are the crack-pot, the traitor Cameron was a bum-chum of Nat Rothschild . . . "

Following your own logic, the crackpots' argument is wafer thin - as I thought.

Not only that it simply gives ammunition to the likes of Hope Not Hate to label EDs as racists and extremists. In fact, given the low quality of such posts, I would suggest many are made to achieve just that aim.

  5. Today, Monday the 13th of May is "Europe Day".

Thinking about politics, despite Ukip's success in the local government elections, the European Union is not high on the electorate's list of concerns.
At the top is the economy, followed by employment and the NHS and so forth.
The EDs need to be saying what its policies are in these areas, e.g., the chancellor George Osborne is deliberately destroying the economy for ideological reasons, i.e., to create a low wage economy as part of the globalist agenda.

  6. Desperate Dave's shambolic response to the rise of Ukip in the blue-rinse Tory heartlands, where the EU is an obsession and when his panicking backbenchers have put an amendment to the Queen's Speech, has added another shambles to the Tory led government's omnishambles

Unfortunately, mass immigration and the Marxists' education agenda has left most of those born in the last 30 years totally ignorant of their own culture and history, just as the one worlders' want it to be. I was speaking to my 88-year-old neighbour about Hugh de Morville, one the those implicated in the murder of Thomas a Becket, who owned lands round here. Of course she had heard of Thomas a Becket. How may born since 1970 have I wonder?

  8. It seems that the typical voter who switched to Ukip in the May local government elections was a 60 year old working class man from Edgbaston who voted Ukip not because of any strong feelings about the EU, but because he feels that his English identity is under attack.
By way of contrast, Ukip members tend to be southern and disenchanted "blue-rinse" and "Tufton-Bufton" Tories who are UK Unionists and that the English Democrats Party is the only party for them.
The English Democrats have to direct their message at Edgbaston man, predominantly living in the north and the midlands, pointing out that Ukip is anti-English.

    1. Pleased to hear about the Edgbaston man. He will soon be a minority in his own city which was, of course virtually 100% indigenous English when he was born in 1953.

The Labour Party have admitted that they have lost voters to UKIP. The North of England really begins north of the home counties and certainly includes the old Danelaw. The northern sense of humour is meant to begin there as well.

  10. Yes, the ED's need to target the disenfranchised working class voter. The ED's should focus on getting the message across to the Labour voter that the Labour party does not have (and never has had) the best interests of the working class at heart and that Labour's globalist, internationalist free market policies are to blame for the plight of the working class of this country.
The left has deliberately taken advantage of the working classes to achieve their globalist aspirations. The left has tagged the working class as an oppressed group and thence bundled them in with all the other oppressed groups of the world. As a result the internationalist left has led the working class Labour voters to believe that they should identify their own cause of struggle alongside all the other oppressed groups of the world.
But working class voters and English voters as a whole need to be brought to realise that their own group interests, now more than ever, are of paramount importance. The sole concern of any political party which claims to have the best interests of the people of this country at heart should be to stand up for the English people in their own country.

    1. English is a name which is never spoken. In the "grooming" case of young girls in Oxford, the men are referred to being of Pakistani and North African "heritage" (whatever that means), but the girls are referred to as, "white", but not, "ENGLISH".

      Delete
    2. I think heritage means this is their culture, although I don't think the BBC intended it that way. Heritage is meant to be a positive thing i.e. you have brought something positive to this backward country whereas origin just means where you were born. Unfortunately, in this case, it just shows that they have not brought anything positive to this country at all.

    3. Yes, the Labour voters still haven't twigged, namely that the Labour Party has been part of the Socialist International since the War at least. Dennis Healey was a communist in the 1930s and that is what the Socialist International is, although we now have Marxism or soft communism as Vladimir Bukovsky has warned us. New Labour are engaged in the final struggle when the oppressed from all over the world i.e. the third world, will link arms with the peoples of Europe and North America and we will all march off into the sunset which will be of brightest red. Labour is just using them as fodder for this, they are useful idiots, as are the third world masses they have brought here to help them achieve their disastrous dream. This suits globalizing capital just fine for the working classes are emasculated and the third world masses are used to render them totally obsolete.

  11. To attract disenfranchised Labour voters whilst still maintaining it's core appeal the English Democrats could implement and emphasise certain policies to which the working class can positively identify. The French Front National attract working class voters with such policies as protectionism of French industry, and they support the idea that the government should take care of health, education, transport, banking and energy.
British nationalism has always drawn from, and been a mixture of the ideas of the traditional left as well as the traditional right so the ED's would be more attractive to a wider spectrum of the electorate if they adopted a more populist strategy whilst still being able to maintain their core principles.

    ReplyDelete

    1. John, I think you mean "ENGLISH nationalism"; there is no such thing as "British nationalism". Apart from that, I agree with you about attracting working class voters with such policies as protection of English industry, and that the sovereign English government should take care of health, education, transport, banking and energy to widen the spectrum of the electorate to which the EDs are attractive with a populist agenda whilst maintaining the Party's core English nationalist principles.

    2. Yes there is although it is a CIVIC nationalism and not an ethnic one. When we had an Empire and were a world power, Englishmen, Scotsmen, Welshmen and Ulster-Scots were proud of their ethnic identities AND proud to be British as well.

  12. Membership of the EU is not even in the top ten of voters' concerns. But it is at the top of the concerns of older Tories who are likely to vote for Ukip (and in the age group which is most likely to turn out and vote). What we are seeing is a crisis for the Conservative Party which is putting the wind up sitting Tory MPs.

    1. The fact that membership of the EU is not even in the top ten of voters' concerns just shows how politically unaware and poorly educated the younger generations are and presumably they are too glued to tv or their i-phones to care. This is quite frightening. Are they even aware of the connection between the EU's free movement of labour and the fact that there are a million Poles in this country taking their jobs with Bulgarians and Romanians to follow with only UKIP or the EDs prepared to do anything about it? It is staggering. Are they aware that 75% of the laws governing this country are virtual diktats from what is a Marxist totalitarian state pledged to the full multiculturalisation of Europe and to implement ( as in the last EU treaty ) the opening of Europe's doors to millions more from the third world in line with the United Nations' agenda 21. For in essence, we already have United Nations one world government and are ruled from New York. By the way, I won't hold my breath about the result of the vote on the amendment to the Queen's speech regarding a referendum on EU membership.

    1. Alfred encapsulates the error which is at the heart of Ukip's thinking. Only in England is there a majority for leaving the EU. If England is to get out of the EU, it has first to get out of the UK.
Self determination is the essence of English nationalism, and self determination is impossible if England remains saddled with the rest of the UK.

  16. I have just read that Peter Mandelson told the Daily Mail that during the Blair/Brown time New Labour sent people out to the third world begging their inhabitants to flock here, no doubt as part of the Socialist International's one world revolution i.e. full multiculturalisation as let slip by Andrew Neather. He now admits that it was a mistake as they have taken jobs away from the indigenous working classes. Isn't it marvellous how New Labour have suddenly realised they made a mistake by adding 3 to 4 million third worlders to the population. "Ooh, I never thought they would take jobs off the brothers, swamp the NHS and add to the housing crisis, what a silly billy I've been". No they are not airheads, just plain evil. They hate the brothers with a vengeance, they all hate and think that England and the English are not worth saving as do their Conservative and Liberal Democract co-conspirators. As stated above, this must be spelled out to the pin a red rosette on a donkey Labour voters. Hopefully, Edgbaston man has now got the message and the English Democrats must hold his hand and lead him back to the promised land of England.

    2. After Nigel Farage was trapped in a pub in Edinburgh it would seem that the Anti-fascists now regard UKIP as racist. Interestingly he called them anti-English racists. Perhaps he is getting the message that the Scots and the English are no longer blood brothers and England needs to go its own way.

At the same time, Russia Today informs us that further analysis of the census results has revealed that the United Kingdom, so that must definitely be England, will have a muslim majority in terms of religious affiliation in ten years' time. It also revealed that there is increasing segregation as white flight becomes endemic, especially from London. Balkan Britain becomes more and more of a reality. I wonder how Edgbaston man will react to all this, no doubt his home city will be among the first to be able to call itself an islamic city state.

It is now becoming obvious that the most visceral form of racism over the last city years has been against the English and other Europeans as their countries are taken away from them. The person commentating on the census returns said the dominance of Islam and other demographic changes are not confined to this country. Methinks the balloon will go up before the end of this decade and it could well be curtains for the main parties all over Europe who have brought this about.

I wonder what the reaction of Edgbaston man would be if this were to coincide with a series of Al Qaeda style terrorist attacks carried out by his fellow "brummies" the "British" fighters who have returned here after fighting in Syria and are apparently planning to make use of their Al Qaeda training there to wreak revenge on us.

"A first-rate city with a second-rate country attached." That is how one person describes London.

He happens to be an American, working in the City. But plenty of people working or staying in London from around the world feel the same way - even if they might put it more politely.

For a certain kind of "global citizen", London today feels like the new capital of the world - while, for people living in other parts of the UK, it all too often feels like another planet.

Our capital is so different, so cosmopolitan, so alien, so draining of the rest of the country, casting a huge shadow - Have we got to the point where the rest of the UK would actually be better off without it?

  19. Following Farage's hasty retreat from Scotland it seems obvious that one reason UKIP has failed to win support in Scotland is that Scotland already has a well-established and well-organised nationalist party, the SNP.
The English Democrats are not yet a well-established nationalist party, but it needs to organise to keep Ukip out of those parts of England where Ukip is not yet organised, i.e., the north and the midlands, the home of Edgbaston man.

  20. The SNP is a Scottish nationalist party and Ukip is a British quasi-nationalist party. The English Democrats are a real nationalist party. Sovereignty is the central question. English nationalists believe that England will be better off as an independent sovereign country freed from the UK.

  21. I remember some comment on the BBC some months ago about London being a world city i.e. it belongs to everbody and anybody and is separate from the rest of the country. I would like to know when the cheeful cockneys ever gave permission for their city to be handed over to the entire world so that they had no other option but to get out. Like him or loathe him Griffin was right when he said they had been ethnically cleansed by Labour and Conservatives. The only word for it is dispossession. And all this has been done for the enrichment of the few.It is something that is worthy of the third world.

The way things are going England will be a world country belonging to anybody who wants to come here for the dosh and the natives can just take a running jump. In fact I remember reading something about England at the end of this century where all the inhabitants had their roots all over the world but none had them here. Have just watched the first of a series of programmes on Australia. It seems that that is where all the English are heading. Although the white Australia policy of the 1970s eventually was overturned it seemed pretty white to me.
That is apart from the poor old aborgines who seem to sink into squalor, alcoholism and depression no matter how much money you throw at them. Well, I suppose that will be the fate of the remaining English one day, that is those who have not jumped ship for the new England that is Australia.
England will be a mirror image of Australia.

As for America, I can't think of any first-rate cities there any more and it is rapidly ceasing to be a first-rate country as it becomes more and more like some Central American dictatorship with an afro-hispanic population.
What a bloody insult from a yank. Obviously, all he cares about is making money so he is at home in the City. He is too thick to have an interest in our history, culture and countryside.
