WELL OVER 70% OF THE PEOPLE OF ENGLAND HAVE ENGLISH NATIONAL IDENTITY. SO WHY DOESN’T ENGLISH NATIONALISM GET MORE MEDIA COVERAGE?

Party members and supporters often complain to me about the lack of coverage of our Cause. Even when there is a major development the BBC doesn’t cover it (unless of course there is a negative spin to put on it!). This is despite we now know what that the 2011 Census shows over 70% of the population of England have a predominantly English National Identity. So the simple question is, why is it that the minority ethnicities and religions and lifestyles get such a disproportionate coverage? So extreme is the bias that some people are tempted by the idea of a conspiracy!

The truth is that it is not a conspiracy in the sense that people have actually got together and decided to be biased on these issues, it is more of a Media and Political Establishment elite “group think”.

There have been a number of articles recently which help to explain how this works. The clearest example of this “group think” in action is set-out in the article below.

Have a read of the article. Do make sure that you complain regularly to the BBC about their bias (aka "Institutionalised Racism"?) so that we can at least make their bias less comfortable for them and make them have to justify themselves!

What do you think of this?
Here is the article:-

Lessons to learn from The Guardian and Mirror's pursuit of Lynton Crosby

Over the last week or so The Guardian and The Mirror have run stories suggesting that Lynton Crosby, a strategic adviser to the Conservative Party, has secured u-turns in government policy which benefit his commercial clients.

David Cameron and Lynton Crosby have been clear that this isn't the case. That hasn't stopped The Guardian running a further story today. The crux of today's story is that Crosby's firm - CTF Partners - advised private healthcare clients how to exploit NHS 'failings'.

Helpfully The Guardian have published the PowerPoint presentation on their website which is the basis for the story. This document was actually a presentation given to MPs of all Parties in 2010 – it was research like all polling companies conduct.

It is not uncommon for someone such as Populus or YouGov to give presentations to MPs or Peers so that these policy makers actually get a sense of what voters or groups such as GPs are thinking. One of the things CTF Partners do is undertake polling research like those household name polling companies.

So the very premise for the story is false but I do admire the journalism as the wording of this and other stories is deftly done. There is a lot of nods, winks, innuendo and language that suggests wrong-doing without ever directly making that accusation.

This is replicated by the quotes from the Labour Party spokesmen who always raise questions too rather than making direct accusations.

Having worked in political communications in the UK for nearly 9 years I know the process and it is very clear. The Labour Party are using two newspapers, supported by the BBC, to try and get a scalp which will weaken the Prime Minister.

A piece of information is dressed up as a 'leak' by the attack unit at Labour HQ. Interesting to note that editors love leaks. Leaks make the information more 'sexy' than if it had just come across the desk of the journalist via a press release. As I've already said, this information is not a 'leak' but a presentation given openly to a group of cross-party MPs over three years ago.

This information is then farmed out to journalists at Labour's two favourite newspapers, The Guardian and/or The Mirror. Once it becomes a front page story - a splash - then that is enough for a call to go in to the BBC newsroom to suggest that maybe they too should be covering this story. If it is a splash in The Guardian the BBC is far more likely to run it as the Corporation buys far more of this newspaper than any other. Voila - a 'leak' created in Labour HQ has become a political 'row' in three easy steps.

There are lessons for all from this sorry saga. Unfortunately some journalists have agendas they wish to pursue. In this case The Guardian and The Mirror want rid of Crosby as they see he is a threat to Labour winning a majority at the next General Election. Having worked under him on two campaigns I know what a shrewd strategist he is. They are right to be worried.

All newspapers have editorial views on all sorts of issues from wind-farms to foreign policy to planning laws and which political party is best placed to run this country. They are free to have those views - I advised the Free Speech Network to help try and protect this - but we should all be aware when seeing a story on the evening news, or as it is shared around on Twitter, just why something has become a 'story'.

There are political scandals - 13,000 avoidable deaths in the NHS is one in my book - then there are stories like this designed to score political points and weaken opponents. Unfortunately the pursuit of Lynton Crosby is unlikely to end today. When the next story is being punted around on social media have a look, read between the lines and look at what isn't said. Then you'll get a better understanding of that 'leak' and the motives behind the 'story'.

  1. What is frightening is that when I was born 62 years ago the figure was 99.9%. In another 30 years or less it will therefore be 55% and in another 60 it will be 40%. The switchover date is meant to be 2050. Peter Hitchens who describes himself as a 1960s Marxist student pledged to smash the England he hated and in favour of mass immigration to achieve that end has just described Enoch Powell as a bigot; even though he has now become aware of the consequences of the policy he so enthusiastically endorsed 50 years ago. Shortly before he died Powell wrote to me confirming my belief that the English would eventually be a minority in their own land, which would become a mostly Afro-asian country. If Powell had been a bigot then he could have not shown the respect to his non-white constituents that he did. He was not a bigot, just somebody who projected forwards logically with regard to the process that his fellow politicians had set in train. At the moment; and after the Blair years, even his predictions seem to have been a bit on the low side. Plus I have several times seen people predicting civil war in 20 years - it may come sooner - Powell's rivers of blood seemed alarmist at the time to some but he was just working out the eventual consequences of the changing demographics. Even if some may be happy to do so, there will be many who will not wish to hand over their country to the teeming masses of the third world.

    1. The plight of people in places like the Congo where war is endemic is sad, but England is already overcrowded meaning that we cannot feed our own people from the land of England. Successive governments have taken advantage of the inherent decency and generosity of the English to cynically change our demographics, to the extent that we have lost our ancient capital city for ever.

    2. Try watching David Lean's "This Happy Breed" and you will suddenly realise what they have done to the Cockneys' homeland. Celia Johnson looks brooding as ever most of the time. I think it is because she was so unhappy about having to live in 1930s Cockneyland instead of the vibrant multicultural (but uncivilised in a third world way) city which is 21st century London. Pity that Celia is now gone and will never know what she is missing just as today's remaining few cockney children will never know what they have missed; unless their grans tell them.

  2. The group think has been largely successful for the establishment in that the large majority has swallowed the lie that being English is effectively being racist and to blame for all the woes that the tyranny of the minorities mentality suggests. Millions of gallons of mind bleach have to take effect. However a stubborn rebellious rump is refusing to succumb. Any one with an ounce of common sense can pick out stories in the press where hypocrisy in the reporting, or non reporting of stories that reflect badly on the establishment view of the way in which our society ought to be shaped are skewed or eliminated.

Orwell was clear about Grub Street and what he said remains true:

“Journalism is printing what someone else does not want printed: everything else is public relations.”

  3. As we know, the traitorous Tories and their media cannot not be trusted. The bunch in power now are blatant.
Decent Conservatives have switched to Ukip, but Cameron and Co. are offering all sorts to win them back. Remember Cameron's "cast iron pledge".
The global capitalism which the Tories represent is the other side of the coin to international Marxism. Big Capital and Marxism are brothers in arms.
The English Democrats must represent the small businessman, the local shop and the small farmer against the transnational likes of Tesco and Wallmart (Asda).

    1. Globalizing capitalism from the Tories, Marxism from Labour and the Liberal Democrats. For the former we are merely individual employees and consumers to be picked up and cast aside for being the first and for being brainwashed to spend, spend, spend for being the latter. Race, culture, tribe, history, fatherland, belonging, home, family, mean nothing to these people except in the context of the Hovis advertisement or a commercialised Christmas - and now Easter.

For the Marxists we are just pawns in their one world borderless, raceless, cultureless, world where, as for Tony Blair, England was born again in 1997 as a Marxist revolutionary entity. Borders and tribes and ethnic nations are an impediment to globalizing finance and trade and to the socialist international. But did we ever want this? Of course we didn't but nobody ever gave us or any other hitherto white country the choice. We are told it is for the good of our souls when really it is for the enrichment of the few and political power in the hands of a small number of weak little men and women who have seen this as a means of their having power over the denizens of once great and powerful nations peopled by once great and powerful men and women imbued with an intelligence and a maturity that they can only dream of.

  4. Daniel Pelka, the four year old Polish boy who died weighing the same as an 18 month old child, was the victim of political correctness and the government's ideological and unnecessary austerity cuts. In part teachers were reluctant to challenge the immigrant parents for fear of stepping over cultural boundaries, and also because the chances of social services doing anything were slim because they have reduced since the government's cuts

I don't believe this was anything to do with 'cuts'. It is an attitude of mind amongst the so-called 'carers'. They are cowards, and jobsworths afraid to tackle difficult issues, especially if there is race or ethnicity involved. We had the head of the NSPCC or someone similar on TV yesterday who had the brass neck to say that 'we must get systems into place to prevent this sort of thing happening'. Systems! It's the people who are at fault, people like you who shouldn't be in the job, if that is what you think. People in your industry. We had to put up with 'aren't nurses wonderful' when it turns out of course they weren't. No condemnation of people I noticed. And these things have been happening for decades. There needs to be a wholesale clearout of the politically motivated. Your industry should be next.
We must agitate to get change, we must challenge at all levels.

    2. it doesn't matter how good people are, if there are not enough of them or they're under-resourced, they can't do the job properly.
One reason crime figures have fallen is that people don't expect the police to do anything, if a crime is reported. In part that is the result of the police being tied up with form filling, but police numbers, including civilian staff, have been cut drastically.

    3. If nurses aren't 'wonderful' and they are still in employment, that is the fault of the management. For years hospitals have been managed as businesses by bean counters. Hospitals are not factories. Bring back matron.
What has gone wrong is the deliberate undermining of the sense of national solidarity by successive anti-English governments, culminating in the lot we are saddled with now.

But it seems that there is no such thing as a free donor. I have just heard with total nausea and incredulity (although I don't know why I should not accept that our politicians wallow around in the gutter) that the main donors of the three main political parties are on a list for receiving seats in the House of Lords. Come back the hereditary peerage; I am sorry I thought you were an anachronism. Hence, Robin, when you have a friendly little chat with Mr Cruddas I hope you can promise the same. What the hell do those b....... know about the lives of the great unwashed who now constitute the bulk of us through the coalescing of the English working and middle classes? which gives them the right to decide our laws. Time for Madame Guillotine I think. At least the French know they can bring down the establishment. We merely cower before it and have since 1066.

  7. I feel desperately sorry for Doreen Lawrence and what has happened to her as I did for the widow of PC Blakelock; but if they had listened to Enoch!!

Anyhow, it seems that Doreen is now Lady Lawrence and is a member of the House of Lords. No such honour for Mrs Blakelock because presumably her late husband deserved it in the view of the Cultural Marxist establishment. I am not sure how Doreen is managing this one as I thought she lived in the West Indies. That notwithstanding, her first foray into politics has been to get the Equalities Commission behind her in condemning "racist" raids on potential illegal immigrants by the border agency. Well, then, we might as well give up on borders all together and wait until we are all standing shoulder to shoulder gasping for air.

I have a feeling that this one might not exactly improve "race relations" although many of those targeted by such raids are probably from Eastern Europe. This must be the final proof that the indigenous population has lost control of its country to the New British, just as Enoch predicted. Sorry to mention him twice; he just had a way of being right.

By the way, UKIP are complaining that they did not get a single seat in the upper chamber. I can't think why but the term Cultural Marxist or not comes to mind once again.

    4. It looks like the Tories are about to be split between those Conservatives who want to conserve and those Conservative who want to destroy.

On Saturday night Michael Fallon, a Tory minister at the Department for Energy and Climate Change, was criticised for a joke he made about fracking at a private meeting that was held in Westminster.

Mr Fallon said a key place for shale gas exploration was the Weald, between Hampshire and Kent. “The beauty of that — please don’t write this down — is that of course it’s underneath the commentariat,” he said. “All these people writing [newspaper] leaders saying: 'Why don’t they get on with shale?’

“We are going to see how thick their rectory walls are, whether they like the flaring at the end of the drive.”

This could herald another rush of proper Conservatives rushing to join Ukip.

As well as Lynton Crosby, who masterminded successful General Election victories for the former Australian Liberal (i.e., Tory) Party Prime Minister, John Howard in 1998 and 2001, they have hired Jim Messina the man who master-minded Barack Obama's winning campaign.

That way the Tories could win by cheating as Obama did i.e. whoever you vote for the machines resort to the default position which just happened to be Obama; whereas ours will have a default position of Conservative. Cameron is as much of a man without scruples to attempt it I am sure. Perhaps Robert Mugabe could be invited to send observers to oversee our general election.

  9. England is now almost as densely populated as India (395 to 411 per sq km), probably more so than Africa and is quite a bit more so than Jamaica and certainly the countries of Eastern Europe from where these people come.
The fact that we are almost as densely populated as India shows that we are turning into another third world type country. One thing is certain is that these people who are doing it to us have no feeling at all for our beautiful countryside which will soon be confined to the national parks. One hope is that there are still those in the establishment like the aristocracy who have a deep sense of history and a great love of that countryside and will start to scream as the houses get closer and closer to their country seats.

I shocked my Guardian reading brother by correcting him that the population was now 62m; he had thought 60m but many believe it is now 70m. He said we cannot feed ourselves. I replied that we could during the War. In view of that I went to check Britain's population in 1939. It was 46m and if it was 46m or lower again then we could not be held to ransom by U boots torpedoing food convoys, whoever they belong to. The Optimum Population Trust favours 29m. We could have got it back down to 46m from 54m in the 60s without mass immigration.

However, France, which probably still doesn't have a problem feeding its population, has shown an increase from 40m in 1945 to 65m. Whereas ours has been officially a 34% increase, theirs has been a whopping 60%. And presumably most of the increase is down to mostly muslim immigration which began under De Gaulle.

  10. Have just watched an early episode of "Dad's Army". When it was first shown it was part of everybody's history and everybody's family. Gradually it is beginning to feel to be something that belongs to me but that is alien to so many living here now, presumably the perpetrators of the above crime in Exeter.

However, one thing struck me; when Captain Mainwaring said something along the lines of, "We English are slow to anger. We do not like wars or bloodshed but when we are roused then we fight better than anybody on earth". Was that only true back then and is no longer the case? Will we survive with a bang or go out with a whimper?

Maldon, Hastings, Dunkirk; we are almost unique in Europe in making more of our defeats than our victories. You don't get the French or the Germans wallowing in how they both came acropper when faced with the Russians and the Russian winter.

The Traditional Britain Group has a piece about the English sense of melancholy which features so much in our music and literature. One day when we are gone then it will be gone too for I don't see much sign of it in our New Britons, especially those from the sub-continent who don't exactly suffer from a similar inferiority complex; quite the reverse from what I have seen. They don't seem to share our habit of being deferential and self-depricating. Perhaps this has been our undoing.

    2. Then, as now, the English were faced by an implacable enemy, but we came through with a bulldog spirit. At least we don't give up.
We are still, after a thousand years, fighting back against the Norman and his baleful influence on our national identity, which gave us our forelock tugging "inferiority complex". That seems to be a southern phenomenon; don't tell a Yorkshireman that he is inferior.

  12. Why doesn't English nationalism get more coverage? Well, we had it drummed into us at school that 'patriotism' is good, but 'nationalism' is bad, and that 'patriotism' applies to being British, while 'nationalism' applies to being English', i.e., British - good; English - bad. No doubt, that attitude still prevails in establishment circles which control the media.

  13. The media establishment gets the message out that all forms of racism are bad and cannot be tolerated. National identities can be celebrated and promoted for those originating from a non western country of origin. However when it comes to English identity it seems that fairness and tolerance go out of the window and the media actively allow an anti-English sentiment to filter through.

I heard a blatant example of this anti-English bias only the other week whilst listening to the Hawksbee and Jacobs programme on TalkSport radio.
'What a waste of ink' is a feature on the programme whereby Andy Jacobs criticises people who send inane and pointless letters to newspapers. Jacobs came to reflect upon a letter sent in by 'English Dave'...
"Says it all really, doesn't it?" said Jacobs in an overt outburst of anti-English racism.

  14. The point is that all those originating from non-western countries have countries to which they could return, however much of a basket case those countries are. Today we hear that a conversation between a high-ranking Al Qaeda official in Pakistan and one in the Yemen is to lead to the closure of a large number of western embassies and consulates. Why aren't the Pakistanis arresting said official, they must know where and who he is? We will soon have nowhere to go, let alone returning to our own country.

This is our only country and it is being stolen from us by these people; and to promote the country that the English were so proud of just 50 years ago and to wish to preserve it is regarded at best as a joke and at worst as the most evil form of racism. Try calling Indian nationalism and India for the Indians a joke and see if you live.

The Japanese, whose iq - together with that of the Chinese and Ashkenazy Jews - is slightly higher than that of Europeans, will not be drawn into the lie that they need mass third world immigration to survive. They are ready to tackle the problems of an ageing population and are not phased by them. Their answer is to produce robots to replace people. Nobody ever calls them racist, why? Because the only people that are called racists are whites by non-whites. No white would ever dare call anybody else racist even if they are because it would be just turned round and it would be the whites who would be called racist. There are plenty of Asians living in this country who are racist as regards the host population but nobody would dare call them so.

We are reaching the end of days because the world will not survive in the same way once the white race has been removed which seems to be the plan. But who will have the courage to suggest that what is happening is suicidal? They will just be dismissed as white supremacists by the Marxist consensus.

  15. Glad to see that Michael Wood is doing three programmes on Alfred the Great, starting this evening on BBC 4 at 9pm. This will tell the New British who was England's greatest king and remind the English of their real history - unfortunately most will probably remain ignorant as they will be tuned into brainwashing garbage on other channels. It annoys me that, for some obscure reason, the monarchs of England begin with William the Conqueror. Alfred was England's darling and a man of great courage, faith and learning, a rare combination, matched only, interestingly enough, by Churchill.

If only Alfred could somehow be recreated from the dna found in his bones, now hopefully unearthed in Winchester, so that he could cut a swathe through the British establishment who have been planning since the War to make the English history. As it is we are faced with "leaders" like Tony Blair who is too frightened to go to Gaza but takes the money, parades his Roman Catholicism whilst being violently anti-Christian and devoid of an ounce of Christian charity but lured by the love of money which is the root of all evil; or Cameron who is so ignorant of his own history that he had not heard of Magna Carta; well perhaps if he read it he would learn something about democracy rather than the elected dictatorship of which he is a part.

Even when it comes the language we speak, where most other peoples would deplore the corruption of their language by mixing it with others and strive to remove foreign words, we have had it drummed into us from our earliest childhood that we should celebrate the "enrichment", i.e., watering down, of our mother tongue to create an international mishmash.

  18. Yes, it was an excellent programme; a shame that the modern world had to intrude in the form of jets taking off from Heathrow, fighter jets and the way the whole of London seems to be being replaced by glass and concrete to satisfy the greed of Dutch credit. Have just discovered that the origins of London and New York as financial centres lay not with the English but with the Dutch of New Amsterdam and those who came over with William of Orange. The financially adept Jews followed in their wake but they did not originate it. Indeed Britain's only Jewish prime minister, Disraeli, found such Dutch credit very distasteful and corrosive. From what I have seen of modern London it seems a place apart, wallowing in obscene wealth and greed. As for Alfred, as Enoch Powell pointed out, Alfred began the process of christianising the Danes and when this was complete, because of their shared dna with the English, the two became indistinguishable.

Poor old Godfrey Bloom has got himself and UKIP in a bit of bother thanks to the spying by the self-righteous prigs of the Guardian. When I heard this it made me laugh, the sort of comment made by a man who is totally frustrated by the way the government is throwing good money after bad in foreign aid when it is needed to feed our own relying on food banks. However, on BBC News I saw a Labour mp of Pakistani heritage spouting about it. Has she thought of returning to Pakistan to help? It seems that those from the New Commonwealth want to come here for us to look after them and for us to pay out for those they have left behind. However, this is a further example of us losing control of our own political policies, be it border control or foreign aid to New Commonwealth immigrants. The matter was discussed by George Allegiah from Sri Lanka and a lady correspondent also of Sri Lankan heritage. More and more I think I am living east of Suez. All the consultants in a recent hospital visit were from there as well. Apparently ours are fleeing to Australia to escape multiculturalism. It is like musical chairs. People studying the likes of Keats and Constable and Shakespeare will have to look at old photographs and pictures for every field will be covered in housing estates. Greed, sheer greed and one way globalism i.e. a constant stream inwards as we are pushed further and further into the periphery of our land.

    1. We English have been sold down the river by the Norman establishment, and there is nowhere to run to, since the rest of the world is full of foreigners also displaced by global capitalism and population pressures, being forced out of their home countries too.
What is happening in London is ethnic cleansing of old London families by the Cameron government and Iain Duncan-Smith to make way for the New British, forcing the remaining English out into Essex if they can afford it, or to somewhere hundreds of miles from their home turf bereft of friends and family and everything they knew. (It seems that, now, when properties become vacant in London, they are first advertised for sale abroad).

    2. We are going to have to accept that London has been lost and there is no way back for it. It will have to be left to do its own thing under its mayor/First Minister Alexander (Boris) Johnson who is descended from Jenghis Khan.
Our provincial cities must not follow suit, although a number such as Birmingham are in danger of doing so.
There is some hope because the immigrant population and their children are beginning to return to their countries of origin or are being attracted to the great multi-cultural cities of London, New York and Vancouver.

    3. Unfortunately, my reaction to this further piece of insanity is to want to emigrate; but that is presumably what they want. We are not alone; what is taking place is now European ethnic cleansing; Europeans are leaving to go to the New World or the Antipodes and are being replaced by third world peoples. Europeans, once homogeneously concentrated like the Chinese, the Indians and the Japanese, in their own continents Europe and North America are now being scattered across the globe like the wandering Jews. In tiny pockets they will be easy to eliminate. Civil war in the United States is inevitable with the possibility of whites losing to Obama's government. With 46m we could have fed ourselves, with over 70m we cannot. All this is so insane and illogical then it can only be planned genocide; otherwise it does not make sense.

And today Jacob Rees Mogg mp is horrified to discover that he has spoken to the Traditional Britain Group which, according to the BBC, opposes mass immigration and multiculturalism which, according to Jacob,"is truly awful", only in Europe Jacob. The Japanese oppose mass immigration and multiculturalism but nobody says that is truly awful. I like to think that Jacob was saying this with his tongue in his cheek but I doubt it. He has fallen victim to a savage attack from Searchlight, Hope not Hate etc. Have these bodies ever asked the vast majority of the English whether they agree with the TBG ?(who however have since issued a rebuttal). Of course they haven't. They would probably find that they do agree with that viewpoint and so will not ask them because that will stop them from instituting their fascist Marxist multicultural revolutionary state, whether it results in the end of England and the English and does not accord with their desires or not. They don't give a hoot what the indigenous people think of what is happening to their country. As Enoch said, "Those whom the gods wish to destroy they first make mad". Enoch, please pray for us wherever you are, for they have made the English stark raving bonkers. I note that the TBG is also being attacked by our New Britons as well, notibly Sadiq Khan mp. Neither the British establishment nor the New Britons will rest until the indigenous population of Great Britain has been mostly replaced by peoples leaving the overbreeding third world.

  22. The English Democrats might announce that they intend to contest the Yorkshire and Humberside EU seat of Geoffrey Bloom MEP. At the very least it would raise the profile of the party given the current publicity around his use of the expression Bongo-bongoland to describe the recipients of UK overseas aid.

  23. Have you any proof of immigrants returning home? This may begin to accelerate as they sense that English backs are against the wall and what they must have assumed was the acceptance of the majority to the multicultural experiment because of the way the English, either out of politeness, tolerance or fear never showed themselves to be openly hostile to what was being done to their country, begins to change and they more and more start to reveal their true feelings either through the ballot box - the European elections will be interesting - or in letters to the press.

As regards, retreating to the safe havens of cosmopolitan big cities, I remember an Indian doctor who joined my choir in this, to quote Gordon Brown, sickeningly white part of the country. I have a feeling that something might have happened at the hospital where he was working to make him want to leave it. He left saying that he was going to work with his friend from India in London. I sometimes wondered whether he felt safer and more comfortable there as we feel safer and more comfortable in those sickeningly white parts of the country that are still left to us. Homelands, self-segregation, human nature.

  24. And now the water is running out and we are all to pay for water meters at our own expense. We can no longer feed ourselves and there is a risk of power cuts. Should we not challenge this on the basis that this is occurring because of the idiotic immigration policies of the last 60 years which never had any popular mandate from the English people? The governments of all parties did it to us so they should pay for the consequences. I have reached the conclusion that anybody with an iq above 80 in a position of power and influence has now emigrated.

It is now becoming obvious that this cannot continue and we are going to have to lose millions of people if we are not going to end up like a third world country. If Enoch Powell had been listened to and our leaders had bitten on the bullet then we would not have reached this ludicrous turn of events. We could have reduced our then population rather than increasing it by one third. Hence the news that immigrants are chosing to return is a step in the right direction. Unfortunately, there is going to have to be further financial inducement as Enoch said would have to happen if we are not going to grind to a halt.

  25. I have just read a report on Russia Today about our half a million increase in population in one year. The report showed five Caucasian babies. Several commentators said that that was incorrect, there should only have been one shown. However, I was shocked to discover that our population is now nearly 64m not the 62m I thought it was - and that is the official figure. Some say it is already 70m if not higher still.

  26. Have just watched Sian Williams at the 2013 Eisteddfod. Lucky old Welsh. Hundreds of ethnic Welsh enjoying their language and their culture. The eisteddfod came into being for just that reason, to re-establish and preserve a Welsh identity. It was described as an event where the Welsh come together as a nation. Yes, we do need something similar; but it won't happen. We are the ones who are losing our culture and identity now whilst the Welsh are forging ahead. It won't happen because we won't be allowed to let it happen and if it did, it would have to be multicultural or would be deemed to be racist. By the way, if we do get a parliament then it should not be in London which is no longer part of England. My choice is the previous capital, Winchester, or if you want somewhere more central then somewhere like Lincoln; somewhere that is still recognisably English.

    1. The lucky Welsh indeed; they still have a national language which has changed little since the eighth century, and their own distinctive national culture.
York was a Roman capital suggesting York or Leeds (which would have linguistic and cultural benefits), and in medieval times the parliament met in Nottingham, hence the importance of the Sheriff of Nottingham. Also, Nottingham still has a Parliament Street.
Winchester is too close to London not to be overwhelmed by multi-cultural London, and it is within commuting range.

  27. Shouldn't the question be:

WELL OVER 70% OF THE PEOPLE OF ENGLAND HAVE ENGLISH NATIONAL IDENTITY. SO WHY DOESN’T ENGLAND GET MORE MEDIA COVERAGE?

That's all we need to set this off. Fair coverage in the media starting with the BBC.
