The EU migration and refugee crisis

The EU migration and refugee crisis

An extraordinary amount of sentimental nonsense is written and spoken about what “Britain” should do about these problems. Whilst it is true that David Cameron and William Hague have made the situation worse by causing the collapse of the Libyan State. The dramatic scenes that we have seen of migrants in unseaworthy vessels on the Mediterranean have usually set out from the anarchic civil war zone that was Libya. In the main however the crisis has little or nothing to do with the United Kingdom.

As a small country on the periphery of the European continent with a living standard which is already quite low down the pecking order of “the developed world” (and sliding) there isn’t realistically anything that this country could do to completely sort out what is likely to be an ever growing problem; as the population of the world spirals well out of the ability of the earth’s natural resources to provide adequate lifestyles, let alone comfortable lifestyles for its ever vaster human population.

Within the UK the vast majority of migrants (and a disproportionate proportion) prefer to stay in England and are both not willing to be dispersed into Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland and also are made very unwelcome by local people. It is the English who have been peculiarly tolerant towards immigrants over the last 50 years in which more migrants (and a larger proportion of population) have come here than in the entire previous history of England.

Last year alone the official statistics said that we took in 330,000 migrants. Given the inadequate collection of statistics of those coming in and going out of the country these figures should be viewed with extreme scepticism. The true figure may well be double the official one!

It is in the interests of the Government and the State generally to down play the state of immigration as the people of England become ever more concerned that this whole issue is being grossly mishandled by our so-called leaders.

Discussion of the number of Eastern Europeans that have come has been phrased by a figure of 600,000 Poles being regularly touted. In fact this figure only represents those Poles that have signed up for employed status with an employee national insurance number. The Polish Government does keep statistics of whose going in and going out of their country and where they are going to and they think that we have over 1.5 million Poles here.

It is worth bearing in mind that the Government of the day claimed, when they opened our borders to Eastern European immigration, that only 13,000 Eastern Europeans would come. Now officials talk disingenuously as if the claimed 600,000 Poles was the equivalent to the 13,000. If the official figures are out to the extent which seems to be the case with Poles, then you can probably add another one million other Eastern Europeans here!

Some years ago one of the main supermarket chains published their estimate of the total population on the basis of the amount of food eaten. They estimated that there was at least another 10 million people in the United Kingdom over and above those thought to be here. A similar discrepancy emerges if the amount of effluent produced by the population is considered.

If all the calls for Britain to do something were answered, then the county’s infrastructure would simply be unable to cope. I think it is no exaggeration to say that it is already creaking at the seams. There is also the question of our peoples’ living standards, their access to jobs and the facilities and our culture and our countryside. Just as a reality check, 330,000 people coming in in a year requires a building programme equivalent to nearly two Colchesters to be built just to house one year’s migration. It is also more than a new Doncaster or a new Newcastle.

The 8 million migrants that the Government has now admitted are here means that a new London must be built and, given the migrants preference for England, that is going to be built in England. Such levels of migration are totally “unsustainable”.

So when politicians say that we should take more migrants whether they be refugees or economic migrants or EU citizens, bear in mind that they are asking us all to treat the UK State as if it were in fact a private charity rather than an organisation the purpose of which is to look after the interests of our Nation and our People.

My answer to those who would like to see something done for migrants, is that those people should do it themselves out of their own money or using their own time and effort. The English are already by far the most charitable people on Earth so go and do it yourselves but don’t expect to use the State, the taxpayer and our fellow citizens’ futures to subsidise your conscience!

  1. The English Democrats should place close attention to what Frank Field MP has to say. He is in favour of an English parliament too.

    2. Dear old Frank Field of London working class Tory stock who switched to Labour over apartheid in South Africa. But that must have been in his younger days. I wonder how he now views a white minority in London and England. He and his Tory sidekick, Nicholas, of Churchillian ancestry, Soames, have been trying to get governments to see sense on immigration for at least ten years but to no avail. Nicholas Soames was told by Krishnan Guru-Murthy on Channel 4 news that his grandfather was a racist. Viewers of the outspoken Guy Martin in India the other night would have seen just how racist Krishnan's ancestral home is where the untouchables in the slums constitute half of Mumbai's population. Frank Field speaks sense but the big bullies at Westminster are not listening. I have virtually given up driving south on the M6 and the A1 as the traffic has increased so dramatically since we moved north 9 years ago. Soon it will just grind to a halt.

Interested to see that our population is already probably about 75m. That probably means 60m in England. This would mean about another 25m or a third since the War or 25 Birminghams. I suggest that you contact Frank Field and ask for a chat, Robin. I did e-mail him about immigration once. He replied very cordially.

Meanwhile, on the Continent, the Serbs are cashing in by smuggling the "refugees" into Hungary where they have breached the fence. One of the smugglers said that people from all over the Continent were making a quick buck by smuggling the refugees here, there and everywhere. Have just hear the Beeb saying that countries should process them on their territory and not move them on. But so many are refusing to be fingerprinted and photographed and just demanding to be taken to Germany. And one young man said he didn't want to work there, or in Finland ( which has few migrants) or Sweden but just claim benefits.

John Laughland on Cross Talk on RT ( always talks sense) said the majority were economic refugees and Germany was playing the sympathy card as the employers wanted the cheap labour because of a lack of young people. He locked horns with an Arab speaker over why they are all young men. The latter said that the women and children would join them in due course??!!.
Laughland also asked why America was objecting to Russia helping Assad fight the Islamic State. Wasn't that the aim for all to combine to do this? The inference is that America and Israel just don't want Russia keeping Assad in power. Regime change is their aim as in Libya and Iraq ( and Russia ). But if ISIS get to Damascus then God help the Syrians ( especially the Christians protected by Assad) and God help Europe.

As for England, the chattering classes are appalled at the few England is taking. Perhaps, as you suggest, they would like to house, educate them and pay their hospital bills. Somebody has suggested the German president open up the doors of his presidential palace to the refugees. Soon the "Refugees are Welcome" crowd will be demanding the Queen does the same.

As the current crisis has shown, when the chips are down, European countries, including Britain, just resort to the usual in-fighting. The whole thing was so predictable, as was the failure of multiculturalism and the only people in favour were big business and big banks and the starry-eyed of the Left. Both acted for reasons of ideology, ideologies not shared by the ordinary people of Europe. As for the environment, we now have English people commuting from Barcelona by plane because they cannot afford to live in London and East Europeans going home by plane frequently as well. This is not helped by the fact that John Major's privatised railways have made rail fares so expensive that people are choosing to fly within England itself.

  3. Now that marxist England hater Corbyn has been elected Labour leader I really hope the final polarisation will occur because I think there will be civil war now. Corbyn was reported to want to abolish the Army, Royal Navy and RAF well its now time for servicemen and women to do a military coup. After all under the 1689 Bill of Rights we are allowed to bare arms against any treacherous government.

    1. Francis, I never thought that we would come to the point where we would need a military government but it seems that the ghost of Cromwell is with us as we face totalitarianism and a police state. As for the forces, the navy is now having trouble recruiting because our service personnel are sick of dying and being maimed for oil and Israel. As for no army etc, if the "West" would stop interfering and attempting regime change largely to sell arms everywhere then our nation would be much more secure.

  4. Well said Robin - and the EU Freedom of Movement under the Schengen Agreement does not help the UK one bit even though we were not a signatory. Soon Calais will be a mountain of economic migrants and once Germany has handed out EU passports they will legally be able to move on to..... England!

    1. We have a civil war in the camps at Calais as each nationality stakes out its own territory and then fights for what is on offer by way of food, clothing etc with fights going on for five hours.
Apparently, they were fighting over free bicycles - why they were being given bicycles I don't know, unless they were expected to cycle to the shops to buy food or cycle to England along the railway tracks.

  5. As Bush's poodle, Blair had quite a big hand in getting rid of Saddam. Although he seems not to get as much attention, or blame, Cameron stoked the flames in the Middle East by supplying arms and logistical support to the Islamist insurgents in Syria..
His intervention with Sarkozy in Libya removed Gaddafi, creating chaos in that country. Before the intervention, the Libyans had quite a comfortable existence. At the same time, Gaddafi was creating employment in sub-Saharan Africa. Once Gaddafi had been removed the Libyans had no incentive to stop Libya from being used as the gateway to Europe. And once Gaddafi had been removed sources of employment dried up in the African countries he had been bank-rolling. That created pressure for Africans to move to Europe for work.
If Cameron had intended the current immigration crisis, he could not have planned it better.
I don't know how you can say that the crisis has little or nothing to do with the United Kingdom. While the UK can do rather a lot to create crises, I agree that the UK can do very little to sort them out. It is no longer a world power, but an increasingly impoverished (and pointless) state on the periphery of Europe, as you say.

    1. Robin has mentioned world overpopulation but has not said that this is not the fault of Europeans who are now suffering from an overbreeding third world looking for lebensraum. India's population is due to double again. If non-Europeans were having as few children as Europeans and the Japanese instead of four times as many then the world would not be overpopulated but its population would actually be shrinking.
This is what the UN needs to tackle not telling Europeans they must accept these unnecessary surplus populations. The above writer is spot on regarding the reasons for the current crisis.
And of course Sadaam wanted to sell his oil in euros not petrodollars. And Israel wants shot of all of them. Cameron probably did intend the current crisis as the oligarchic elite want to divide and rule and are probably using Islam to bring down Europeans worldwide and Russia as well ( best of luck re the latter).

Two excellent Cross Talks on the subject and Syria on RT. John Laughland said that most or not "refugees" but economic migrants and asked why so many young men but that we need to let Russia help to bring peace to Syria so they can go home. Another speaker last night, ex-American army, said that Western Europe is facing total collapse if it lets all these people in with the embedded terrorists ( Hungary has found another one). Western Europe now needs to rely on Eastern Europe to save it - he said - together with Russia via Syria. It is to be hoped that this will lead to a settlement in the Ukraine as Poland buries the hatchet and works with Russia to save Western Europe. Nice that a former US ambassador to Syria said again the America will not take refugees for fear of the terrorists!! All this the work of American bids for world hegemony but what a world they are creating. How I long for a return to the stable world of my childhood and teenage years in the 50s and 60s when there was no diversity to cause constant friction.

Meanwhile, the Hairy Bikers were blown away by their stay in St Petersburg having been bombarded by all the bad propaganda re Russia. One chap they spoke to said that Russia is going back into history to find its best traditions and preserving them.
He said that Britain, too, had many traditions. The difference is that the Marxist multiculturalists are determined to sink them in the name of anti-eurocentrism. Blair and Brown wanted England gone. The Russian said that traditions strengthen a country. This is obvious. The strong countries are those that are still homogeneous and honour their history, culture and traditions. Western European nations are becoming weaker by the day, especially England, because they are forced to deny this fact.

    2. The UK could help to sort out these crises by working together with the BRICS countries and Iran rather than the Gulf States, Turkey and Saudi Arabia who are all aiming for domination in the Middle East. The current crisis is good as it is now going to force the hand of Europeans to drop the special relationship and work with others than America to achieve peace.

    5. You are right but it is just a far-away dream. However, I note that the library here has a notice outside saying "No dogs except for assistance dogs". Following Germanic linguistic practice then "except" should be "set aside" and assistance dogs should be "help dogs" which immediately grips the consciousness better than assistance. So the notice would then read "No dogs set aside help dogs". Set aside creates a picture of the dogs being picked up and put elsewhere whereas "except" means "taken out" like the German ausgenommen, which does not mean the same in English.
I often follow the words of the hymns trying to replace the latin abstract nouns with Germanic equivalents. Saviour comes from to save which was rid in Old English so Saviour would read "ridder" as in the phrase "will nobody rid me of this meddlesome priest". It is an interesting excerise.

    6. "No dogs except for assistance dogs" would actually be "No dogs but for help dogs", The "Saviour" would not be "Ridder". It would be "Healer", or "Redder", i.e., "Deliverer".
"Rid" is from Norse meaning to clear; "Red" is from Old English meaning to deliver/to free.
The word "priest" (from Latin "presbyter") was in the language before 1066.
"will nobody rid me of this meddlesome priest" can thus be seen as pure English English

    7. I don't know if any of this is of interest to other members but you are right with Healer as the German is Heiland from heilen to heal of make whole. I know about to rid meaning to clear and to free as in the place names royd or ridding but thought is was the same as the verb to save as well.

    8. You are right that royd and ridding mean clearing, e.g., Mugatroyd means Moor-gate-clearing.
This should be of interest to members because having our own language is at the heart of what it means to be English, and we speak a language which, although it is known as English, is mostly not English and belongs to the world and not to us.

    9. England would have been very different if it had not been for the Norman Conquest and English a very different language. In the end England ended up being split between the Germanic and the Latin world, a bit like Switzerland in some ways. We would have still been tied to Scandinavia. As it was we spent three hundred years fighting unnecessary wars in France for a Norman French elite. If you look at the British establishment these people are still very much in power. I heard yesterday that Samantha Cameron, isn't her father the Duke of Sheffield or something?, is descended from the Cliffords as in Butcher Cumberland. They changed their name at some stage from the place in Normandy from where they hailed to the area around Clifford ( in the Midlands I think) which William the Conqueror took from the English and gave to them.

  6. I would like to draw members to an online parliamentary petition which is currently circulating. This was forwarded to me by a UKIP member.
Its title is "Stop allowing immigrants into the UK". I am surprised that you have not come across it yet, Robin. I have signed and urge others to do so. I think that such petitions only need 100,000 signatures to necessitate a parliamentary debate. This one has now reached 178,000.
However, I do not hold out much hope that the debate will be fair or achieve anything. The fact is that so many m p s now have such substantial immigrant populations in their constituencies that they will be frightened to speak up for fear of losing votes. Others may be afraid of being tarred with the "racist" brush. But the best Archbishop of Canterbury for many years, George Carey, who hailed from London working class roots has said it is not racist to be opposed to immigration.
The optimum population of Great Britain is 30m and we have now reached more than twice that number. For reasons of overpopulation alone, if not for national and ethnic survival, a halt must be made straightaway and hopefully inducements to resettle made available.
There has been such a bill regarding the latter on the statute books for around 50 years. Of course, we are nearly 50 years too late. Such a debate should have been held in 1968 but one world rent boy Edward Heath made sure that the debate was closed down by summarily sacking Enoch Powell.

Secondly, a Mr Luwers of the Iran Project was talking to Oxana Boyko on Worlds Apart on RT last night. He is a veteran American diplomat who served in Moscow in the 1960s and came to love the Russian people if not the system as it then was. He was also in Iran. Of the Americans he said two interesting things. Firstly, they do not believe in diplomacy seeing it as a sign of weakness i.e. might is right. One can see how their attitudes have been shaped by their experiences taking the North American continent. The Americans made 340 treaties with the Native Americans only to break every one. They obviously think that treaties are a mugs' game. Plus he said that Americans do not trust any other country. Already 40% are saying that the Iran deal will prove to have been a fraud. This underlines what has been described as their intense paranoia regarding the rest of the world and the view that you attack them before they can attack you. It is this paranoid worldview that is now causing so much trouble for the rest of us. One frightening thing is that much depends on the whim of each president. Obama wants to make peace with Iran as Roosevelt did with the Soviet Union and Nixon with China. Others like George W Bush just believe you bomb your way around the world to get what you want. Is this a democracy or a one man dictatorship?

The Croats have now realised their mistake in allowing the invading army to cross their border on its way to the EU. The Hungarians have been criticised by the EU and the UN but their foreign minister said that nobody who throws stones at their police will be allowed into their country. These people are not acting like refugees, refusing to be processed and just storming the borders and launching attacks on those trying to deal with them. So how many really are refugees or are they just a Trojan Horse?

  7. Former French president, Nicolas Szarkozy, has said that the "West" should work with Russia to bring about a settlement in Syria. This is the man who with Cameron and Washington, removed Khaddafi and caused the start of the current refugee crisis. With Cameron he went to Libya to celebrate Khadaffi's ousting. I can only think that he is another vile politician engaged in political point scoring as he is a Gaulliste and Hollande, who is planning to send drones to Syria, is a socialist.
And now we hear that Kerry is talking to Lavrov about Syria as well.
We have seen all this with the Ukraine and it is probably just another American charade. White man speak with forked tongue again!! Meanwhile the "refugees", those fit young men have been throwing stones at the Croatian police as well, who then put a thousand of them on a train back to Hungary where the Hungarians arrested the Croatian police on board, the driver of the train and the refugees as illegal immigrants whilst putting them in a camp - no doubt heavily guarded - for processing. Can you imagine this going on at either end of the Channel Tunnel? - it may yet happen. The trouble is that those bent on world domination have let the evil genie out of the box and nobody knows how to put it back in again. The Russians have said they are prepared to send in troops to aid Assad to fight the Islamic State but that will not suit Cameron and Washington who bleat on about Assad going.

  8. Tim Farron the new leader of the Lib Dems says that he intends to make a "land-grab" for the Labour vote, following the election of Jeremy Corbyn. He claims that he wants the Lib Dems to support small businesses. The English Democrats should say the same about making a "land-grab" for the Labour vote, and supporting small business, except that the English Democrats can say it more convincingly than the untrustworthy Lib Dems can.

    1. For those of us who saw Corbyn as the nemesis of neo-Liberalism and the restoration of power to the ordinary working man or woman, we have been seeing some troubling developments. Corbyn was a total fool not to sing the national anthem as it made him a prime target for the Daily Mail et al.
But George Galloway tells us Corbyn does not believe in either God or the Queen. Corbyn is a heart an international socialist multicultural Marxist and is probably backed by the Rothschilds again. Plus, Galloway said that in Cameron's Witney constituency only one in every 250 is "black" (probably non-white) whereas the figure is one in seven in Corbyn's London equivalent. Witney is probably sickeningly white for Galloway and Corbyn. Has it however occurred to him that, as I know, Oxfordshire has in the last 30 years been flooded by English refugees from London to escape multiculturalism with the consequence that most of it is now going to be concreted over to house them. Have they not heard of white flight or any other flight for reasons of sticking with their own? Recently, I heard somebody say that people rapidly get out of their comfort zone when faced with other races and cultures. This is an established fact, man is tribal and birds of a feather flock together. This is human nature and no amount of social engineering will change this. At every turn now on tv we are faced with the promotion of other races than white. This is a deliberate piece of social engineering to make us accept that we all belong in one big melting pot. Well, we don't and never have. It doesn't work no matter how much the do-gooders like Jeremy want it to. Tim, nice but dim, Farron will probably be no less multicultural than the rest of his party which, however, did not have a single non-white in its cabinet in the last government.
Corbyn has made Diane Abbott his minister for overseas development. This is a good idea. Perhaps she can encourage her fellow New Commonwealth descendant folk to go back and help develop their ancestral homelands instead of rushing here for the good life that Europe offers until we all go down the plughole together.

Meanwhile, we are told that the "far right" are taking to the streets all across Europe faced with the refugee crisis. This seems to be Neo-Nazis in Munich - but not all so - and the Sweden Democrats and True Finns in Scandinavia ( the equivalent of the EDs or UKIP here). Finland has largely escaped mass immigration and does not want to end up like Sweden where, however, the Swedes largely ignore the incomers and carry on as before. This is why the latter keep rioting and setting fire to cars. Most of the new wave of third worlders are heading for Germany or Scandinavia. We are too obsessed with the underdog and what the neighbours think to do the same. We just keep running until we run out of land to run to.
