Leaving the EU

On the 18th February I attended, at David Campbell Bannerman MEP’s invitation, a conference that he had organised at Europe House, the former Conservative Party Headquarters at 32 Smith Square in London. The conference was entitled ‘Alternatives to EU Membership: What are the UK’s options?’

The conference was extremely well planned, supported and very interesting with a series of interesting speakers. We had the history of the relationship between the UK and the UK and, indeed of Europe, generally extending back over the last 2,000 years from Adrian Hilton, AKA the blogger, Archbishop Cranmer. His speech can be found here >>> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GMc4AElHRAw&list=PLhBwLqL-Q9j9LAg45qcCuWJCZVfcjRvyM&index=2 and is well worth listening to.

The meeting was chaired by Tim Montgomerie currently of the Times and formally of Conservative Home, who was kind enough to welcome me personally and assured me that he supported an English Parliament and wished the campaign every success.

We heard from Ruth Lee, from Martin Howe QC and interestingly from Heming Olaussen, leading No to EU campaigner, and also Thomas Aeschi, member of the Swiss Parliament for the Swiss Peoples Party, as to what the situation is in terms of resistance to EU membership in both those countries. Also from David Campbell Bannerman himself and also from Sir Bill Cash MP.

There were also impressive contributions from Matthew Elliott, John Mills, leading Labour Eurosceptic, and Dr John Warmould, an expert in the motor manufacturing sector, recorded messages from Owen Patterson MP and Niall Gardner, of the Heritage Foundation in Washington, an entertaining speech from UKIP’s Earl of Dartmouth MEP and also a great speech from Christopher Chope MP. All of these speeches can be found by following the YouTube links.

The upshot of the meeting was also useful for the Eurosceptic Cause, as it became clear there is really a very simple option which does not depend on anyone else agreeing to anything. We could simply leave the EU and there would be an automatic access to the fundamental agreements governing world trade under the auspices of the World Trade Organisation.

Other options would simply give rise to the sort of confusion which did not help the ‘Yes’ side in the Scottish Independence Referendum, as we would be left arguing that we need the agreement of particular people and trying to convince people that the negotiations would proceed favourably.

Bill Cash pointed out that because the UK does not have a written Constitution and the fundamental rule of parliamentary sovereignty (that one parliament cannot bind the next), means that there is nothing constitutionally to stop us simply repealing the European Communities Act, which means that the UK is automatically out of the EU.

Therefore with that simple constitutional step the UK would be back amongst the trade nations governed by the World Trade Organisation. No doubt also, given the balance of payments, we would also be able to get favourable terms with the EU in due course in any case. The only part of the economy which needs special consideration is the motor industry which may need special support negotiated with the industry leaders.

This clarification is of course great news from the point of view of the campaign to leave the EU, since it makes all the arguments much simpler and much easier for everyone to understand.

What do you think?

  1. Robin we could leave the EU today if we really wanted to and nobody could stop including the SNP and PC.

We have to remember that Lady Thatcher would have probably taken out of the EU twenty years had Heseltine and Rifkind not stabbed her in the back.

Because of them we then had to suffer 13 years of New Labour and the continuing unfair devolution settlement.

Unfortunately the bankers control all main parties so it is unlikely a Milipede or Cameroon prime minister will take us out of the marxist EU.

    1. Let them. Then we can sue them for all the anglophobia and anti English attacks that have haopened in Scotland and Wales.

It is now tome to sue the UK hovernment for failinh to give us English an equivalent Parliament that the the other parts of the UK already have.

I no longer see SNP and PC as allies. They are marxist useful idiots for the nwo.

    2. Francis, the court would throw out attempts to sue on those grounds.
On the other hand, the legal advice to the SNP and PC can only suggest that for the UK to be taken out of the EU against the wishes of the Scots and the Welsh would be illegal.
The SNP, Plaid Cymru, and the English Democrats all wish to end the UK, so on issue at least they are allies.

    1. The anti Pegida movement was well planned and organised by hardcore marxists and islamists. The North East is turning nationalist. The MP clearly supports Islamists and anglophobes. I can aee white English voters starting to desert Labour now in the North East. Sadly Sodium Fluoride comtaminates the water suplies in Newcastle and Gateshead. This lowers ones IQ by 7 points makes people fat infertile and causes health problems. This exactly why those communist controlled authorities wanted sodium fluoride added to the wster supplies. Time to bam the stuff.

  4. "This clarification is of course great news from the point of view of the campaign to leave the EU, since it makes all the arguments much simpler and much easier for everyone to understand."

    Robin,
If you are right, the English Democrats might just as well pack up and leave the field to Ukip. The rag-bag of Ukippers and Tory "Eurosceptics" who gathered in Europe House required this outcome, but that does not make it so. Sovereign England could get out of the EU, despite London, but add the opposition of the peripheral countries to that of London and it can't happen.
In reality, England would have to be independent of the UK to get out of the EU (to make it more certain, independent of London too).

  5. The English Democrats need to develop a "brand" which is distinct from Ukip, rather than appearing to be hanging on to Ukip's coat-tails.
Ukip's weakness in places like Grimsby is that its policies are designed to appeal to the affluent South, i.e., "Grammar Schools" (as in Kent) and other backward looking policies which benefit the middle classes who can buy coaching to enable their offspring to get a step on the ladder ahead of less privileged children.
Dissatisfied voters in the North are turning to Ukip, despite voting for Ukip being against the financial interests of those same voters in places like Grimsby.
The English Democrats should re-cast themselves in the shape of the Greek Syriza party, putting social cohesion and solidarity at the centre of their message, with the refusal to be bullied by international capital.
That would put blue water between Ukip and the English Democrats. For example Ukip is in favour of immigration, but not from Europe. Ukip is only the latest manifestation of 'Empire Loyalism', in which Great Britain is just a small part of "Britain", i.e., the Empire.
The English Democrats should make the survival of England and Englishness its unique selling proposition.
Syriza is defying the bankers and preparing to default the national debt.. The English face a similar debt which has been building since 2011 under Cameron and Osborne. The English Democrats should stand up and say that an independent England under the English Democrats will not pay for Osborne's mismanagement of the economy.

    1. ". . . debt has been building since 2011 under Cameron and Osborne". Did not Blair and Brown contribute to the national debt during their stewardship of the economy? It seems unfair to pin the blame for the burgeoning national debt on the Tories. Labour is just as culpable if not more so.

    2. The ruling radical left SYRIZA has found an unexpected ally in far right Golden Dawn, not only in terms of the probable change in Greece’s geopolitical orientation but also regarding the suspension of the privatisations initiated by previous governments. A message of Golden Dawn entitled "No to the sanctions on Russia, no to the privatisation" states the following: "One of the firm positions of Golden Dawn that the party has submitted to parliament and the public is that Greece must not take part in the sanctions of the European Union and the United States on Russia. The national interests and geopolitical conditions require this position. As for privatisation, which we believe is selling off our country, our position on the privatisation of the port of Piraeus and the Public Power Corporation (DEI) is known. We also believe it is important to return the so-called "small DEI" to the Greek people." - See more at: http://www.grreporter.info/en/golden_dawn_supports_syriza_boycott_against_sanctions_russia/12282#sthash.y0AglMSN.dpuf

    3. Steve, I don't think that the Mail's columnist Peter Hitchens is any friend of Labour, but he points to the rise in the national debt under the Tories and the precarious state of the economy under Osborne.

      Delete
    4. I agree with most of what Peter Hitchens writes and he has nothing good to say about any of the UK parties. I doubt he would absolve Labour of any blame for the present size of the national debt. In my view Labour are to blame for a financial mess (did not Liam Byrne leave a note for his successor at the Treasury in 2010 saying " I'm afraid there is no money . . . good luck") and the Coalition have done very little to clean it up.
      Steve, Ilminster

      Delete
    5. As I understand it, Hitchens is making the point that the national debt has risen under the Coalition which instead of doing anything to clean it up, has made it worse. That is not to absolve Labour.

  6. Support for Ukip has dropped markedly since last year's European elections. Ukip has fallen into a trap of its own making. While seeking to attract Northern voters who think that Labour is not Labour enough, Ukip is alienating traditional Conservatives in the South who think that Cameron's Tories are not Conservative enough.
The English Democrats need to learn the lesson. They also need to learn from the SNP. The SNP was always portrayed as the 'Tartan Tories'. Once the SNP had re-positioned itself so as to represent the values of the majority of Scots, more Labour than Labour, it romped away.
The English Democrats now have great a opportunity to keep Ukip out of the North (where the sense of Englishness is stronger than in the South) and to replace them there by developing policies to appeal to Northern working class voters who would normally vote Labour.

    1. The sense of Englishness is stronger in the North than in the South? I would take issue with that considering the number of places I see the Cross of St George flying here in Somerset.

    2. Well said. Southerners have had the means to white flight away from the invading masses. However, I recently had reason to talk to a lady who has fled north from Romford. I know people there who had already fled from Hackney. Romford is being smothered in houses and now the immigrants are following the natives out of London. Essex is one place where you will find the Cockneys who have fled. And their next stop is the North Sea. So I would have thought it was fertile ground for the EDs.
Certainly, the working classes have been most effected by immigration and the free movement of labour. England needs a bottom up revolution. The middle classes can escape and are normally too "nice" and woolly headed ever to speak their minds on subjects such as immigration. They think it will never get to them as it has to the workers. Well it will but by then it will be much too late.

    3. There is no doubt that there are plenty of patriots in Somerset and Essex, but unless the North is won, the English Democrats will not get far in the South.

  7. I have just ploughed my way through a book on Hugh Gaitskell, who was opposed to EEC entry. At the time, the Labour Party thought that the EEC would be controlled by big business and was basically capitalist. How right they were. France has lost thousands of small businesses. However, reading a recent copy of Tribune leant to me, I see that Labour are now so pro-EU that they even think that "right wing" parties in Europe are financed by Russia who wants to dismantle the EU. Can't think this is the case for UKIP. Are you getting cash from Russia, Robin? Tribune also said that UKIP were harking back to a time that never existed. This is a total like, English England was alive and well and a stable, cohesive and happy land.

As regards Pegida, Francis, whenever they turn out in Germany they are vastly outnumbered by the anti-fascist brigade. Despite this polls have shown that their support is over 50% in East Germany and just under 50% in the West. The fact is that you and I would be terrified of turning out if we are to be faced by the UAF Nazi brownshirts. We will only dare show our true views through an anonymous (although nothing is these days thanks to GCHQ) poll. Those supporting Pegida probably outnumber those against but the opponents will claim they have anti-racist right on their side. The battle is coming between left and right all over Europe, as well as native against immigrant. Francis, have heard that about fluoride. The English certainly seem to have got more stupid and spineless over the last few decades.

On that tack, we were shown the bus arriving in Brixton to get blacks to vote and stand in elections. They are demanding equality within political parties. How will the EDs fare there? I feel sorry for them, they have been brought here to bring about white genocide on behalf of the bankers, aided by the self-genocidalists of the Left. But they are now bent on revenge for years of "discrimination" and slavery.

I caught sight of the Sun from May 2015 about the fact that non-whites will be a third in Britain, probably much higher in England by 2015.
If I live to be a hundred then I will have known England with virtually no non-whites to a third of the population. if my children make 100 then whites will then be in a majority. The paper suggested politicians treat ethnics as separate groups from now on. So we will have black against white, muslim against hindu, muslim against Sikh and black against Asians, all vying for power. The pluralistic nightmare will be here and the English retreating like the melting snow before the sun.

Meanwhile a very convenient killing has occurred in Moscow as a peaceful federalist Ukraine was about to be achieved; no thanks to the bankers' boys Kerry and Cameron who are blaming Putin. Putin is brighter than they are and would not destroy it all by being so stupid.
I think you will find it was a CIA contract killing to destabilise Russia and blacken Putin. Caleb Maupin said the Wall Street Banks want Russian powerless so they and the big corporations can pillage both the Ukraine and Russia itself.

  8. The government has sold the national stake in Eurostar just as its profits are rising.
An English Democrat government should not allow strategic national assets to fall into foreign hands. That would be in contrast to the Tories who are fanatical globalists intent on getting rid of all our national assets and dispersing their ownership away from England.

    1. Will be interested to see whether Labour carry out their pledge to re-nationalise the railways. France and Belgium are not selling their stakes in Eurostar but they still have their nationalised railways who own ours and are ripping us off.
Doubtless the same will happen with Eurostar.

Meanwhile, I see that George Osborne's advisor on the economy has been caught smoking crack cocaine and shots of Osborne himself in the House suggest he had been snorting cocaine. What a cesspit this country has become. Just a look at the tabloids show how depraved our countrymen have now become. What would my grandfather, who died in 1951, have said? He would probably have been glad that he was not going to live to see it.

There is way can fight back and that is if every English person refused to pay debts. They could then do nothing to stop us.

I have had roughly £5000 written off because the bankers were too terrified to take me to court. Usury discriminates against christians and religion is a protected characteristic under the equalitu act 2010.

It is now our duty to rebel against the bankers sue the councils sue the msm after all the balkans freed themselves from ottoman rule by refusing to pay jizys taxes.

  9. I see that Philip Hammond has said he is going to insist on EU reform and then give us that much promised referendum. Gaitskell said he would only enter the EEC on the right terms. But the terms have never been right and no British politician has changed anything. Don't believe a word Hammond or Cameron say or a promise they make. They now have their Bankers' EU and they are not going to change anything that would not suit their masters. There was a prediction that Greece will leave the euro in a year and then others will follow. The people or Europe do not need Russian money to escape this Marxist totalitarian oligarchic empire. The Revolution is coming from Greece and it will, we hope, sweep the financial political complex as it has been called into the dustbin of history.

    1. Cameron made one of his solemn pledges, this time to cut immigration, which then rose to 300,000.
Now Ukip has dropped its policy of capping immigration, particularly to allow more immigration from the Commonwealth rather than from Europe.

Well, in England, the English Democrats do compete directly for votes with the larger parties of Great Britain, and like the SNP and Plaid Cymru, the English Democrats do not field candidates outside of their own nation.

  12. The EU are now pro-TTIP so you will find that once it has gone through by the end of the year there will be no way of leaving the EU without being sued by corporate America. The gent speaking about this was from Gaia which aims to preserve biological and cultural diversity. Then he must include the homogeneous ethnic state but probably daren't say so. Mr Farage now wants the further browning of England. I always had my doubts about him. Enoch wanted a mosaic of homogeneous nations.

UKIP will get us out of the EU which is one important stage to reclaiming our land. On the other hand if we do not leave the EU by 2017 then we will have to rely on Scotland voting for independence.

I have been looking at the proposed legislation crominalising child abuse denial. I actually support this legislation but it needs to go a lot further. We need to criminalise the dwnial of Englands right to identity and self government.

The UN is just another double speak mechanism designed to conceal the genocide of white ethnic europeans and christians worldwide.

Remember it was the UN that forced devolution on the UK after complaints from the SNP. The SNP are therefore useful idiots designed to destroy England.

    1. I have heard of Liberty GB led by Paul Weston. He stood for UKIP in London a while ago. He then had another party which did not make much headway. He has appeared on Russia Today where he has challenged the authorities by saying he is a racist so could they please discuss the reasons with him. I am surprised that Liberty is still going strong as people are too afraid to support it. I know he was arrested for quoting Churchill's plea to keep Britain white. Quoting Churchill is now an offence. He has also said that we are facing genocide, which we all know as we head towards the brown blob.

I have spoken to my 90-year-old neighbour from Bradford. She has just gone back to stay and is distressed at the state of it. Of course very soon it will be a Pakistani majority city and is turning into the third world, as is the whole country. I saw a piece in the Sun about Swindon hospital in this regard.

I see that Ken Livingstone and Dianne Abbott were in London yesterday hosting a "black lives matter" forum following events in the US claiming that racism, especially in the Met, needs further eradication. Of course, Enoch Powell warned that if New Commonwealth immigration was not halted and reversed we would end up with the same situation regarding black and white as in America. But the Left, such as Livingstone - who must have seen the total transformation of London in his lifetime - were determined to press ahead in his self-genocidal quest for ideological reasons and the bankers wanted English genocide for their own hegemonic aims. When I think back to multicultural days I remember them as being when the rest of the world - especially the non-European world, was thousands of miles away. Now it is crowding in on us like water being sucked down a plughole as we disappear from view.

As for Ms Abbott, if she believes that black lives matter then rather than fight in support of a multiculturalism that has never had any democratic mandate and which is resisted more and more by the natives as it threatens to engulf us, then why not turn you attention to the thousands of your fellow Africans who are dying in the continent. Why do you leave it to the Europeans whom you blame for all your woes to do this for you?
The answer appears to be, putting yourself first in a way that most Europeans do not.

    2. So what if Liberty GB claims to be in favour of an English Parliament? They are an irrelevance. No party with GB or UK in its title will ever deliver anything meaningful for English patriots. Nothing less than independence will do.

  14. Cameron can promise a referendum as TTIP will mean no escape from the EU and he knows this. Meanwhile Hammond is helping the Kiev regime whilst everybody wants peace. This is because this government is the bankers' government wanting a bankers' war with Russia. Why do Tory voters not realise this. Meanwhile I have a new hero, Congressman Dana Rohrbacher who was the only one to challenge the arch Neocon and Russia hater and architect of the Kiev coup, Victoria Nuland. He asked her why she is so bent on defeating Russia whilst the people of the Ukraine face death and penury. Of course she does not care, neither does Cameron for they are all cut from the same cloth.
They are all the financial elite bent on world domination and they are causing death and destruction anywhere. Let us hope that Southern Europe suddenly erupts followed by the rest.

  15. So Plaid Cymru have said with regard to Tony Blair's "blood money" that he has been paid millions by the international banks to do their bidding or probably the one international bank who are paying him as an "advisor". But so it is for all our political elite as part of the financial political complex. Doubtless they wanted the war in Iraq as well.

Roger Scruton seems to think that mass immigration has presented a challenge in the form of people of different "cultures", usually coded speak for races as well but that Englishness can be retained and that our countryside can be just as pretty when built over to accommodate them. What absolute rubbish. England cannot be England if it looks more and more like Africa or the Indian Sub-continent or the Maghreb,
And continuous urbanisation is a nightmare. I fear that Enoch's rivers of blood are just a few years away, not only here but all over Europe and North America.

Meanwhile, a Nigerian lesbian asylum seeker has had her application rejected. Doubtless there are thousands like her in Sub-Saharan Africa wanting to come to Europe. The question is why do Africans not go to South Africa now for a better life. It is their country now? Why do they flood into hitherto white countries. The cry was Africa for the Africans but cry Europe for Europeans or even England for the English and you will be slung into prison.

I have been looking at the so called evidence against the Steadfast Trust and I smell a rat.

The supporters doing nazi salutes and making racist comments were not employees or contractors or connected to running of the charity in any way so how can they justify closing it down just because a few supporters are racist.

Does this mean we should close down every mosque because a minority of moslems support isis and so on?

Unless Steadfast actually induced racial hatred or did nothing about it then this is very weak.
